How early can I check in?
Check in is generally after 2.00pm. If you plan to arrive earlier give us a call and we'll try our best to accommodate an earlier check in.
What is the latest time I can check out
We would appreciate it if all guests can check out by 10.00am on their day of departure to enable us to prepare our rooms for our next guests. If you'd like a later check out please contact reception the day prior to your departure and we will see if we can assist.
IS there a minimum age to book a room?
You need to be 18 years of age to have a booking with us. Photo ID may be requested.
When is reception open?
Our reception is open from 8.00am - 10.00am and 2.00pm - 6.00pm. If reception is unattended during these times we wont be too far away, please call or text us for assistance.
Do you offer contactless check in?
We offer contactless check in, we just need to have pre-payment on your room and we do the rest! Please call or email to let us know that you would like contactless check in.
How Do I check in if reception is closed?
Give us a call and we will make the necessary arrangements to make your check in as easy and smooth as possible.
What parking is available?
Each guest room has one free designated car park in close vicinity of the room. Additional on street parking can be found close to the Motel.
Do you have parking for motor Bikes?
We don't have designated motor bike parking, however we accommodate many motor bikes throughout the year with no concerns. Some of the parking areas are flatter than others and some are out of view. We will try our best to assist with finding the most appropriate one for you if we can.
Are you pet friendly?
We have two versatile rooms that welcome your furry family members. There is an additional fee of $15 per night to a maximum of $50 for longer stays. Here's our pet policy.
The South Seas Motel has two versatile rooms that are pet friendly. We understand that your furry family members are important, we have two furry family members that live at the motel! We welcome pets who have owners that are respectful to the motel and other guests. Pets must be on leash at all times unless they are in the fenced off area at the back of the motel. Pets must not be left unaccompanied in the motel. We ask that pets don't share the human furniture and that all pet waste is picked up and disposed of properly. We understand that dogs bark, but if your dog is causing a nuisance with repetitive barking, the dog will be asked to leave, and that's not how we want you to leave the South Seas Motel.

Is your pool heated?
The pool is solar heated so how warm the pool water is will depend on the strength of the sun!
Are there stairs into tHE guest rooms?
There are limited stairs into some of our rooms. Our deluxe, versatile, and garden view rooms are on ground level. Our standard rooms can be accessed via a ground level walkway or via stairs.
Is my room cleaned daily?
We do offer daily housekeeping if requested. Just place the 'please service my room' sign on your door by 10.00am and we will look after the rest. If your stay is longer than 6 nights your sheets will be changed during your stay.
Can I smoke at the Motel?
All rooms are smoke free. Smoking is restricted to the car park only and at least 4m from the shared balcony, walkways, stairs, and pathways. All areas including the pool sun deck and the gardens are smoke free. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
