MOTEL POLICIES

Bookings

The motel reserves the right to cancel bookings without notice where no valid credit card has been registered. Photo and credit card ID may be required at check-in. Payment is required upon arrival. Any services that were not billed at the time of your departure, may be added to your account and may be charged to the same credit card to pay the account.

Cancellation

Standard
24 hours notice is required for a cancellation, or the first night of the booking will be charged.
Peak Periods
During our peak periods of 23 December to 31 January, Easter and June long weekend, 48 hours notice is required for a cancellation, or the first night of each room booked will be charged.

Child Policy

All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
One child under 2 years stays in a child's bed or cot (additional fee applies).
One older child or adult is charged AUD 20 per room for an additional bed.
The maximum number of extra beds/children's cots permitted in a room is 1.

Check in and Check out

Reception is open daily 2.00pm to 7.00pm, but you can always check in outside these times, just give us a call on 0444 539 204 so we can make the arrangements.
Check out is 10.00am unless arranged prior with us.

No Smoking/Vaping/Water Pipes

Please be respectful of others who do not smoke or wish to inhale second hand smoke.
Our premises is basically smoke free and smoking and vaping (including water pipes) is restricted to the car park only and four metres away from any stairs, footpaths and doors, smokers know the drill! There is no smoking/vaping on balconies, grassed areas, BBQ area, pool deck or pathways. A cleaning fee of $500 will apply for smoking inside rooms. Please put your butts in the garbage bins.

Guest Behaviour

We want you to have a great time when staying with us at the South Seas Motel, and we hope that you will be respectful of other guests and the motel. Any guest not respecting other guests and the property will be asked to leave and a refund will not be given. Any damage to the property will be charged to the guest. Please keep noise to a minimum between 9.00pm and 8.00am.

Pets

​The South Seas Motel has two versatile rooms that are pet friendly. We understand that your furry family members are important, we have two furry family members that live at the motel! We welcome pets who have owners that are respectful to the motel and other guests. Pets must be on leash at all times unless they are in the fenced off area at the back of the motel. Pets must not be left unaccompanied in the motel. We ask that pets don't share the human furniture and that all pet waste is picked up and disposed of properly. We understand that dogs bark, but if your dog is causing a nuisance with repetitive barking, the dog will be asked to leave, and that's not how we want you to leave the South Seas Motel.
